Welcome to my photoblog!! I thought it would be a fun change of tone to just lightheartedly explain some pictures I have taken since being in Thailand.

This is where it all began, taken at the Atlanta airport around 3 am!! I was utterly confused and overwhelmed, so obviously I took a selfie. Every 15 minutes the speakers would say “warning, emergency alert” VERY loudly. A very calm way to start off travel days.

My lovely plane buddies!! A beautiful thing about Asian airlines: they give you hot towels at the start of each flight. I couldn’t begin to explain how refreshing that was after 3 days of travel.

The third full day we had in Thailand these lovely faces and I got to travel to some rice fields outside of the city to teach English. It’s still one of the sweetest experiences I have had since living here. Like seriously, look at that view!!!

Oh, the infamous shadow tattoo shop. Out of the 7 people featured in this picture, 5 got tattoos. Most of them were NOT planned before, might I add. The situation happening in this picture: Kelsey & Miranda were convinced to get matching “full send” thigh tattoos. By far the most ICONIC thing to have happened to Y squad thus far.

On the very same day, sweet Miranda got MY ART tattooed on her body!! It still blows me away every time I see it on her arm.

Our LIFE SOURCE here in Thailand. Most evenings are spent with at least one 7/11 run. Most times I get a coke and ham&cheese sandwich. It’s a nice refresher after only eating rice at ministry.

This day takes the cake for “most disorienting.” We found a MASSIVE 6 story mall (with a movie theater and rooftop, might I add). After 3 hours of exploring we came across this store with a bunch of stuffed animals. WE ABOUT LOST OUR MINDS. As you can see from the picture, they’re pretty dang cute. I spent 10 minutes deciding if I should buy one or not, it was 6 dollars but SO SOFT. I was so indecisive that my squadmate Sam ripped my cat plushie out of my hands. As soon as he took George (yes I named it) away I started sobbing. I still dont know why, the world may never know (don’t worry, I ended up buying him & I have no regrets).

This is 5/8 of my lovely team; Orah, but more loosely referred to as GWB (girls with bibles, its a joke though HAH). Our ministry took us to the mountains for an adventure day, and of course, us fools wore shorts instead of pants. The places we visited preferred we covered our knees, so we got to rock these matching skirts.

(This might be the most awkward picture I have taken, but we will ignore that)This was one of the places our ministry took us. I don’t know why it is there, or what purpose it serves, but I found it HILARIOUS.

Regan (more commonly known as BABS), Clarissa, & I at the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. Spent the evening swimming & eating with the locals. I would try to explain how gosh darn beautiful this place is, but words simply cant suffice. Hopefully, this picture will somewhat do it justice.

A tapestry sold by my lovely friend who owns a cashmere shop by the night market. Every single thing he sells tells a beautiful story. This man radiates love and kindness, & it warms my heart that his personality shows through his work. Gosh, God is good!

This is my favorite spot to have quiet time. I call it the roof roof, or roof 2.0, because there are two roofs (hence the name). Not many people go up to roof 2.0, so I feel free to have shameless & solo dance parties, worship sessions, and self-timer photoshoots. I find that up here I can be my most free self! A place of rejuvenation, light, & beauty!

Clarissa messing with bugs at our ministry site. On the other side of that stick was the LARGEST grasshopper I have ever seen. Also, watching my teammates mess with large bugs reminded me of childlike wonder in the weirdest way.

Hope you enjoyed, friends!! See ya next time!!

What an adventure you are on… a picture says a 1,001 words!! With the fun spirit you have… I can only imagine the laughs and times you have had! George is a very lucky cat! He may not appreciate it now, but he will! Has he seen the roof roof? He may be a little scared… as it may sound like woof woof! So be careful!
Continue loving the Lord , life and the little things in their magnitude!
